About the Project:
The Addresses Project is a web-based multi-disciplinary project by Gwen Shockey featuring portraits by Riya Lerner of lesbian and queer women who have dedicated their lives to creating and holding space for women in New York City from the 1950s to today. Alongside these portraits and ephemeral works, currently on view at Pen + Brush, we have produced a limited edition Zine, an exstention the work of The Addresses Project.
