Homoeroticism in advertising has been utilized throughout graphic history. Here I con temporize an advert, "Two Girls Brand" an old Shanghai cosmetic company from the 1920s‚'30s. At that time Shanghai was a multi-cultural city at the end of the Imperial era. My Asian-American born grandparents met in the City's European and American Quarter in 1932. This period and aesthetic hold personal resonance for me.
