This painting looks at how media and literature stereotypes image of woman. It was inspired by a 1960's add for insulated ceiling panels the catch line was "so simple to install even Miss American can do it" (image top right)The a glass ceiling now broken, by many women is represented as the "Swan Dive/Song" is the song sung by Swans before death.
