Have you ever tried to read a newspaper when a cat is determined to sit on it? I usually loose the battle to the cat. Sunday Morning is about slow starts to the day. The touch of paper, not glass. And most importantly, the connections we have with our pets. The painting is of a room, but not a room. The newspaper rug and table are without perspective, only to serve as background for the cat that looks at you straight on, letting you know, he isn't going anywhere.
