This piece combines imagery from my life - my street corner and the strangers I witness there - with a piece I made with my elder care client, a man with primary progressive aphasia. I use shaped canvas, sculptural elements, and mixed media to explore my feelings interacting with residents of assisted living and memory care, as my client transitions between these spaces.
