Pen + Brush's In Print No. 5 with guest editor Novella Fordis a clarion call for anyone who has experienced a shift in their persona, creative practice, principles, and/or actions. Inspired by "I Am," the seventh episode of the HBO series, Lovecraft Country, created by Misha Green, this issue of In Print focuses on Hippolyta's question: "How can I fit everything that I am now, into this place?" Some works in this literary and visual magazine provide an answer to this question. Other works continue to question and push against the limited perceptions of what constitutes identity. From the description of a rose to the story of a young girl finding her voice through magic, In Print No. 5 presents an array of strong voices with powerful stories to tell.
