Ana Garcés Kiley Pachamama 2022 ink on lutrador with damask cotton 40” x 60” with 15’ draping voile  This Andean, Indigenous deity, Pachamama, mates with the nautilus, our living link to the past.  Like in the Sistine chapel, the viewer looks up in admiration and reverence.  Unlike that god, she nourishes us with her mother's milk (pink voile) and connects with us.
