No Place to Hide from the series, Growing Pains, 2024

No Place to Hide depicts a young girl behind a curtain holding a large fish, while a cat peers through the folds in front of her. The curtain suggests protection, yet fails to fully hide her, echoing the fishes vulnerability in her grasp. Her hair adorned with organic sea flowers, symbolizes innocence and natural growth, standing in contrast to the worry in her outward gaze. The cat, alert and watchful, reinforces the sense of exposure. Together these elements create a quiet tension, expressing fragility, awareness and the uneasy realization that concealment is never complete.
