My work transforms a mandala into a site of memory, resistance. Inspired by my late grandmother's pin cushion, which | inherited, I wrap traditional Korean fabric around foam and pierce it with clothing pins to anchor fragments of carved paint "fossils." These remnants collected from earlier paintings form a circular constellation that echoes sacred geometry, cycles of renewal. The humble pin becomes both a tool of care and a symbol of defiance, bridging craft and punk spirit.
