I Should Be Somewhere Else is a collection of videos captured in Austin, Texas during the Spring of 2024. In each clip, the subject is seen surrounded by an element of nature. The final videos are displayed on four computer monitors in a setting devoid of the elements, representing the tension between the desire to connect with the surrounding world and the reality of experiencing the world isolated, and oftentimes, through a screen.
