This painting shows a woman leaving an uncomfortable situation in a hurry, a situation that could escalate from bad to worse. All sorts of bad behaviors are being pursued, ignored, or condoned. The famous poster of a sexualized Farrah Faucet Majors smiles bravely from the wall, looking at the scene and being menaced by a poster of a monster half hidden by the boxes. The lighting, the illumination, is a false flame. The satyr is scheming about plans for whoever would stay in that room. The painting is so ominous, it is even breaking out of the picture frame.
