Focus is a freestanding ceramic centauride glazed in the crackled green reminiscent of Shiwan pottery. She brings to mind ancient tales of feminine valour, virtue, and redemption. She stands squarely, arrow unsheathed and aimed toward the sound of gently snapping twigs. Her expression impenetrable, her breath slow and even. She will not be distracted. She is indistinguishable from the surrounding landscape, protected only by her scaly leather chaps and archery guards. She waits silently, patiently, for the release...
