Over the last 20 years my work has addressed questions concerning the complex and changing world we inhabit and our ‚mixed reality,‚  living between physical and digital/virtual contexts. With video and video stills as my primary working material, I produced the ongoing ‚ Evolving Language‚ series using a computer, inkjet printer, and digital cutter. Using digital technology, my work brings forth or ‚remembers‚ new forms that may be beyond an identification of self as a socialized entity or construct. The work references human, animal, insect, environmental and formless forms. It includes a personal history of investigation, while exploring futuristic meanings.
