Dolly Ball was created using a reclaimed antique pinball machine from 1930. The playboard has been reimagined and reconstructed into an analog collage made of paper and glue and serves as commentary about American pastimes, cultural programming and feminine archetypes. Dolly Ball is meant to challenge who is in control, subvert the game, and bring joy to those who play (it is functional although meant to be displayed traditionally).
