Bowerbird is a photo series that I started independently and made into a book. The title is based on the bird's nesting habits. Bowerbirds collect and sort objects by color and organize them in piles around an arch-like nest. For this project, I reflected on my early childhood and created color coded assemblages of my most important possessions and arranged them around a stool that I often had my picture taken on as a child.
