Inside a carved wooden carnival tent, a hand with gilded nails gives the middle finger as it hovers over the Earth. With a turn of the mechanism, the hand and planet rotate together in space, locked in the same spinning motion. The work points to life in the Anthropocene, a world shaped by human appetite, routines, and momentum that is hard to interrupt.
