All My Friends Are Good at Pool is a shrine to the sticky, chaotic holiness of hanging out with people who are seemingly better than you at everything (and look hot doing it). The pool table becomes an altar:billiard balls spread like bubblegum, tentacles and vines looking for a chokehold, flower and wine spilt across the felt… and Blobette—soft, weird, and uninvited—swimming in the midst of it all.I build this world in clay because clay remembers fingerprints, pressure, and heat, the same way friendship does. The piece is funny, ugly, tender, and a little doomed. It’s about wanting in, staying late, and losing beautifully.
