BETTY returns to Pen + Brush!
You’re invited to our second annual Spring fundraiser! Come As You Dream is a fundraising party that supports our continued work fighting for gender equity in the arts through our exhibitions, and publishing programs.

This years theme Come As You Dream is an extension of our current exhibition The Now: Fever Dreams which features a wave of artists who are grappling with the ideologies of mysticism, Surrealism, Dada, Symbolism, and the occult in their works to speak to and dream beyond our current time period. Guests will transcend 22nd street through a portal designed by Less Than 3 Studio to enter THE DREAM for the night which will include a special pop up performance from the band BETTY, a curated playlist by DJ April Hunt, a grazing table by Chef PriaVanda, and a site specific, interactive installation by artist Heather Brammeier. We will also proudly launch House of Puff x Jia Sung's artist collaboration for the benefit of Pen + Brush.

Why our work matters
The safe and communal space that Pen + Brush continues to create today for women and non-binary creators is born and fostered out of our dedication to support artists who are creating impactful work that is so engrained in a larger cultural dialogue that to deny it recognition is to perpetuate a corrupt society and incomplete canon of the history of art and literature. Our mission is to give work of talent and substance a chance to be seen and for the artists to grow from this professional experience and from being supported by P+B, our network, and our local and broader communities.
