Robin Cembalest, former editor of ARTnews and a longtime coach and mentor, has partnered with Pen + Brush to develop this five-class series of professional training workshops for artists. In each session, Robin will offer tips and templates to help artists learn to craft their message and to share it in words, pictures, and public speaking. From social media and websites to networking and branding, the series provides essential skills that empower artists to get their message heard. Each one-hour class includes a presentation and time for Q&A.

P+B is proud to sponsor this dedicated series for our community of artists as a resource and a tool of empowerment.  This is a rare opportunity to have free access to Cembalest’s career-spanning experience and depth of knowledge of our field as applied to her work as an artist mentor and coach.  While you can attend any number of individual workshops you are interested in, we strongly encourage sign-ups for the full series of five workshops to gain the most cumulative effects, for those whose schedules can accommodate it.

Call it your bio, “about blurb,” or statement: Every creative professional needs a paragraph (or two) that sums up their practice. Using examples from various artists, the class offers templates for describing your art practice in a few paragraphs.
